India’s rap badshah’s latest album and AR Rahman’s compositions for I have become a hit

It’s Thursday. It’s Trending Tunes day. In this section, we bring you a list of 10 songs that have been topping the charts all this week. Take a look…

Mersalaayitten – Sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Neeti Mohan, this number has been composed by AR Rahman. The song from Vikram’s upcoming film I, has become quite popular amongst the masses and is at the #1 spot on our list.

Tu Meri – Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s first romantic cum party number from Bang Bang is groovy and Jr Roshan shows off his effortless dance moves in this one. Katrina can be seen in a red-hot LBD shaking a leg with Hrithik, looking all chirpy and excited. We liked the mood of the song the most. The track composed by Vishal-Shekhar and crooned by Vishal Dadlani is groovy and full of energy. However with Mersalaayitten taking the #1 position, Tu Meri has dropped to #2 spot this week.

Desi Kalakaar – The title track from Yo Yo Honey Singh manages to impress us with its cool vibe and the unique vocals of Singh as he vouches for his love played by Sonakshi Sinha. This song is already turning out to be quite a hit with the fans going gaga over the nearly 10 minute long story style music video. As far as the song is concerned, it stands at #3 position on our list.

Meherbaan – This track is composed by the rocking musical duo Vishal and Shekhar and has been crooned by Ash King, Shilpa Rao and Shekhar Ravijiani. The lyrics are by Anvita Dutt. The romantic number is shot at the scenic locations of Greece and Katrina looks nothing short of an ethereal beauty in the song. The Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik flaunts his chiselled body in the video and proves to be the hottest match for Kat in the song! The track has dropped from #2 to #4 this week.

Manwa Laage - Where typical numbers often present the lead couple in predictable scenarios like a rain sequence or eating chaat at a thela, Manwaa Laage goes beyond the norm and is hatke, with its appealing presentation and the happy go lucky quality it possesses. In the video, Deepika Padukone is seen in a dainty desi avatar, singing away to glory whereas Badshah of B-town Shah Rukh Khan, takes the cake by showing off his sexy eight pack abs.

Pookkalae Sattru - Sung by Haricharan and Shreya Ghoshal, this number is the one which you want to listen again and again. And AR Rahman’s brilliant composition plays a major part, we must say.

Abhi Toh Party – This is a promotional track shot for the film Khoobsurat and it features Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Ratna Pathak Shah. The song is set at a royal party where Prince Vikram (played by Fawad) enters with his date for the night, Mili (played by Sonam). But being a misfit to the core, Mili unleashes some madness on the party and makes it a rocking one! We like the rebellious rap by Badshah and also the hints of romantic chemistry between Sonam and Fawad in the video!

Ennodu Nee Irundhaal – Crooned by Sid Sriram and Sunitha Sarathy, this is another beautiful song from Shankar’s upcoming film, I.

Ladio – This song has been sung by Nikita Gandhi, while the lyrics have been penned by Karky.

Bang Bang - Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming magnum opus is laden with beautiful songs and this is another one. Benny Dayal and Neeti Mohan have rendered this on the composition of Vishal-Shekhar. Benny’s voice, Hrithik’s abs, Katrina’s sexy moves, everything is amazing about this number.
