The Amboli police yesterday arrested the ex- Bigg Boss inmate and her boyfriend on charges of molesting a woman
What happened
According to the reports, Sana Khan and her boyfriend and partner in crime – Ismail Khan attacked Poonam Khanna, ‘coz they believed that she had purposely maligned their names and revealed the secret of their relationship. According to the Amboli cops, Sana, Ismail and her servant dragged Poonam out of the hospital where she had gone for a treatment, shoved her in the car and molested her. In her statement, Poonam claims that they touched her inappropriately and twisted her hands.
Why she did it
A few days ago, there was a report in a tabloid questioning the bail Sana got in the kidnapping case. In 2013, Sana had kidnapped a 15-year-old girl ‘coz her cousin, Naved Khan was in love with her but she refused the alliance. Sana came clean in front of the cops, but Ismail bailed her out pretending to be her friend. An NGO later claimed that Ismail himself was arrested in several cases of cheating and at that time Sana posed as his wife for bail. The tabloid published this news with much detail, which pissed off Sana. Apparently, Ismail had recently also attacked actor Sahil Khan over the same article.
Repercussions
The Amboli police arrested the accused under Section 354 for assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty and under Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code for criminal intimidation. Sana has already been granted bail and she is already home.
