There is a strange similarity between the movie and their real lives
Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra made their debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. The movie was a success and the actors were catapulted into super stardom. It’s been a few years since then, but with recent reports of Alia and Sid being ‘more than just friends’ making their way into the media , we couldn’t help but notice how similar their off screen love story is with the script of SOTY.
We were the first ones to tell you how Alia harbored feelings for Varun and was heart broken when that love story didn’t materialise. She even spoke to a film magazine before the release of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania saying how she was going through a heart break and dealing with it. Well, even though she didn’t take any names, sources told us she was talking about none other than Varun.
Unfortunately because Varun was yo-yo-ing in his on-off relationship with his long time girlfriend Natasha Dalal, there was so clarity and stability that Alia could ever get from him. A source revealed to us she was quite heartbroken that this love story was just one sided.
Sidharth who has sort of managed to keep a low profile and not get linked to any one particular star was by Alia’s side through this entire ordeal. In fact whenever they would meet at common friend producer and director Karan Johar’s pad, Alia and Sid would spend some time bonding and catching up.
We also gave you hints about Sid and Alia getting closer than ever before and it seems that its too early to say they are serious or if this is just a casual fling. Whatever it might be there’s no denying that Alia, Sid and Varun are oddly singing Ishqwala Love and living their characters off screen as well!
