Happy Ending directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. will hit the theaters on November 21. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D’Cruz, Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey and Govinda, this romantic comedy has created good buzz courtesy its promising trailer which was released not too long ago. In fact, the makers have unveiled few songs and they too have received positive response from the masses. But overall how good is the music of Happy Ending? Let’s find out…

Mileya mileya: Rekha Bhardwaj, Jigar Saraiya and Priya Saraiya have lent their voice to this track and trust us its an absolute treat to the ears. Beautiful lyrics and soothing music makes Mileya mileya a must hear. In fact, its one of those songs which will stay on your playlist for the longest time and that too on a loop. Well, that’s very much possible at least in my case. But do hear this song and if you love Rekha Bhardwaj’s melodious voice then don’t miss this one for anything!

Paaji tussi such a pussycat: Sung by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Jigar Saraiya and Divya Kumar, this song is absolutely crazy courtesy its quirky and catchy lyrics by Bhattacharya himself. Yes, the talented lyricist and playback singer has done a good job by coming with this eccentric number. Hear Paaji tussi such a pussycat just for fun. There is nothing more to it. When you’re driving down some where with your friends, put this song on and enjoy the ride. Even the video of this track is super hilarious thanks to Saif Ali Khan’s antics. So make sure to watch the video along with the song if you want to double the entertainment quotient.

Jaisa mera tu: This romantic number is crooned by none other than Arijit Singh and Priya Saraiya. Jaisa mera tu starts off with beautiful music and though its a romantic track, its not too slow which is refreshing. Also, you may not like this song at the first go but hear it again and it will grow on you. Both the singers have sung their part well but its Arijit who walks with the cake here. Not surprising because the talented singer has never failed to charm us with his dumdaar voice, right peeps? So if you are an Arijit Singh fan, do hear this song. If you’re not, still go ahead and listen Jaisa mera tu simply because its worth hearing.

G phaad ke: Next in the album is G phaad ke which is again a fun number just like Paaji tussi such a pussycat. However, this one is more of a dance song. The lyrics are wacky, music is upbeat and will certainly get you grooving. Sung by Divya Kumar and Shefali Alvarez, this foot-tapping song has been penned by Ashish Pandit. If you love music and you think the best way to enjoy it is by dancing then G phaad ke is for you. Also, don’t forget to watch the video because Govinda has killed it with moves and expressions.

Khamma ghani: I thought this would be a marwadi folk sort of song considering the two words Khamma ghani but that wasn’t the case. Sung by Papon, Smita and Vidhi, Khamma ghani starts with soothing guitar music. In fact, the lyrics are also good and the song is quite decent too but somehow the words ‘Khamma ghani’ don’t fit perfectly in the song. Also, the in-between portion of Khamma ghani reminded me of Saibo from Shor in the City. For me, overall this song didn’t really work.

Haseena tu kameena main: Sung by Siddharth Basru and Shalmali Kholgade, this song is also a fun track with quirky lyrics. However, it gets repetitive after a point making Haseena tu kameena main a bit boring. Compared to the other songs, this is one falls flat when it comes to music. Also, this track failed to keep me hooked. So it wouldn’t hurt if you skip this one.

Our pick: Mileya mileya, Paaji tussi such a pussycat and G phaad ke.
