Ekta Kapoor is all set to start another mature love story on Sony TV; the first promo of the show just hit the tube. Here’s what we think of it
Sony TV’s new show Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar revolves around how a divorce can separate a husband and wife but not parents. Dr Nachiket Khanna (Ronit Roy) and Ragini Patel (Pallavi Kulkarni Nerurkar) separate after a minor misunderstanding. Nachiket moves to America with three of the kids, while Ragini stays back in Mumbai with two of her kids.
With time Nachiket becomes insensitive and Ragini immerses herself in taking care of the kids while battling the ugly truth of her failed marriage. We caught the first trailer of the show which invoked out curiosity. The trailer showcases that Ronit is in India for the wedding of his daughter, but Pallavi doesn’t acknowledge him as the father of her child. She treats him like a guests, she doesn’t even mention him on the wedding invitations. And when he asks her about it, she claims that for the past 15 years she nurtured her children all alone so she is both their mother and father.
In the promo Ronit Roy looks smart and charming in the attire but the actor has put on a lot of weight. We really hope he is not going the Ram Kapoor way. Pallavi who is coming back to the small screen after almost a decade looks perfect for the role. The promo makes the show look interesting and definitely something worth a watch.
