Yes…That’s what the latest grapevine suggests. Read on to know full scoop…
Last year, Karan Johar had confirmed that he would be making a sequel to his 2012 blockbuster film Student of The Year which marked the Bollywood debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. While the Dharma head honcho is yet to take a call on the casting, we hear he is planning to rope in Tiger Shroff as one of the leads. In fact, the talented filmmaker has already spoken to the Heropanti actor about the same. While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, “Karan met Tiger a few days ago and spoke about casting him as one of the leads. Tiger loved the part and readily agreed to do the project.”
Considering Heropanti was a success, we aren’t surprised that Jr Shroff is being approached by big banners. While KJo has got Tiger on board, he hasn’t finalized rest of the cast. Also, the filmmaker-turned-director hasn’t decided when to start working on the sequel of SOTY. The source further added, ”It will definitely not be anytime soon because Tiger will soon get into action for Sabbir Khan’s next and will follow up with a Remo D’Souza’s action romance co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez.”
Lets hope this piece of information is true because Karan’s films are always high on naach-gaana and we all know how good a dancer Tiger is. So it would be interesting if these two come together for a film, hai na?
