The Aashiqui 2 actor is quite upset by poor performance of his last release
Daawat-e-Ishq has not turned out to be the yummy feast it was intended to be. And the one most affected seems to be Aditya Roy Kapur, who after Aashiqui 2, had quickly joined the list of A-list stars.
Aditya has taken the setback to heart and has gone into a shell in response to his performance in Daawat-e-Ishq, informs a friend, adding, “Aditya is a very emotional guy. He can’t handle any kind of emotional upheaval. When it happens, he tends to withdraw from all social communication with friends and family. He likes to deal with a situation, such as this, on his own.”
Says the source, “He had his doubts about being able to carry off the Lucknowi Muslim chef’s role. But nobody questions Aditya Chopra. When Chopra first offered the role to him, the actor expressed reluctance pleading the character was way out of his comfort zone. But Chopra convinced him that it was a good career option to move out of his comfort zone.”
He’s unhappy with the feedback he has received for DEI. Fitoor will see the actor get out of his comfort zone again. Wonder how he’s going to take that!
