The Bollywood bombshell is really excited about her Tamil debut opposite superstar Rajinikanth
Rajinikanth may be a South Indian superstar, but his craze is widespread across the world. Keeping in mind the extreme popularity of Thalaiva, the makers have decided to dub his upcoming flick Lingaa in Hindi and Telugu. For Bollywood movie-goers, if Rajinikanth is not enough to warrant a visit to the theatres, the presence of B-town hottie Sonakshi Sinha is bound to benefit Lingaa big time.
Talking about Rajini, an excited Sona said,” It is a great feeling to be working with Rajini sir… he has worked with my dad and he had told me, ‘I had worked with your dad and now working with Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter feels nice’. He made me feel very comfortable while shooting. I am looking forward to Lingaa’s release.”
Though the trailer hints that Sonakshi Sinha might be playing second fiddle to established South Indian star Anushka Shetty, a little birdie tells us that Sona has surprisingly more screen time than Anushka in the film. When Sonakshi was asked about this, she refused to spill the beans, but said,” The film is a period drama and showcases two eras… Working with Rajini sir has been a great learning experience and an addition to my professional graph.
