The new theatrical promo of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Everest is out as the show will be going on air tonight at 10:00pm
The story of Everest revolves around Anjali Singh Rawat (Shamata Anchan), who is trying to please her father Brigadier Jagath Singh Rawat by climbing Everest with the hope that he accepts her one day as his own. It’s the story of an ordinary girl trying to do something extra ordinary.
Produced by Ashutosh Gowariker, Everest is touted to be one of the most expensive shows. The promo showcases her struggle, determination, helplessness, desire and pain while creating her identity. She wants her father to be proud of her like he would have been if he had a son. Her mother inspires her to give her best, but pitted against the men, her ambitions are not going to let her take the easy route.
AR Rahman’s music in the promo is the title track which sounds soulful and enigmatic. Every location picked for the shoot is aesthetically beautiful and will leave you mesmerised. The dramatic end of the promo leaves you hanging and wondering if Shamata really did all the stunts. Well the answer is yes, now that makes all the difference.
