Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Robot had become a sensational hit, which was directed by Shankar. A few months ago, there was a buzz regarding the filmmaker planning to make a sequel to the same and the latest grapevine suggests that he is trying to get Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan on board for the film.
The writer of the film Honey Irani, while speaking to a popular tabloid stated that she was writing a script for Shankar and said,” I will be meeting Shankar on Thursday. He had asked me to write this film around six months ago and said that he will meet me only after he had locked the actors.”
However when asked about Robot 2, she dismissed the news, stating that she isn’t working on the film.
Bang Bang actor Hrithik Roshan on the other hand expressed his wish to work with Shankar but stated that he wasn’t aware of the project.” I would love to work with Shankar but I have no idea about this project,” he informed the tabloid.
Well looks like nothing has been finalized yet but boy would Robot 2 be a sensation with Big B and Hrithik on board! What say ?
