Has she put the wrong foot forward before her trip to India?
Kim Kardashian, who is currently on a world tour to launch her fragrance might be coming to India over the weekend. She will also make a guest appearance on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 8. However, the reality star once landed in some extra-spicy controversy by dissing Indian cuisine on her show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
On the show, Kim declared that she finds Indian food “disgusting”. Obviously, her offhanded remark drew criticism from Indians. Some viewers took to Twitter in fury over her slur “I think it’s good Kim Kardashian doesn’t like Indian food, because that means she won’t ever visit India and that in itself is a blessing,” one user tweeted.”Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner called Indian food ‘so disgusting.’ Seriously? You don’t have to like it, but don’t be rude”, said another one
The storm rose enough that Kardashian felt compelled to respond and apologise with a message on her website. Titled “Just Want to Clear Something Up,” Kim wrote: “So on this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians I said that I thought Indian food was disgusting. In NO way was this intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste. There are a lot of foods I don’t like… I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn’t reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture. My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine.”
Well, now that Kim is coming to India, we wonder what will she eat considering her dislike for Indian food is known to all.
