Here’s the latest U-World strike on Bollywood…

A few days back a seven member gang was arrested by the Mumbai police. Police informed that they were targeting to hit strikes and their target list had big celeb names like Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan and Mahesh Bhatt. The men who were arrested have been said to be working for underworld don Ravi Pujari.

The gang was taken into custody on Monday on charges of firing at the home of producer Karim Morani, who held the distribution rights of SRK’s Farah Khan directorial Happy New Year. Police interrogation revealed that post Morani’s house attack the group was supposed to attack on Farah’s house and King Khan‘s office. They were also planning a strike on Mahesh Bhatt.

None of the celebs have commented on the police reports. “Our police officers had information that the seven were carrying weapons and were about to kill a famous Bollywood personality to establish themselves in the industry so they could extort money later,” said Sadanand Date, Joint Commissioner of Police, Mumbai Crime Branch, while speaking to a leading daily.

Ravi Pujari is infamous for making regular extortion demands from several bigwigs in the film industry. He was pissed at the fact that the HNY distribution rights were not given to a certain friend of his. He was also demanding a cut in the film’s earnings which he was outright denied.
