Salman Khan was about to play the role of a lifetime; that of a dwarf in Raanjhanaa director Anand L Rai’s film but now we hear that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor has backed out of the project.
Apparently, the actor was upset about the rumours that made rounds about his role in the film. He wasn’t too happy with how details of his character from the film were getting leaked in the media. And so he decided to bow out.
Salman has always played macho roles in the past. Even his upcoming films Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan will see him play strong male characters.The film was also set against the backdrop of a small town like Anand L Rai’s other films. It would have been quite interesting to see Salman play a dwarf and perhaps play out the insecurities of that character on screen.
Oh well, looks like we’ll just have to make peace with PRDP and Bajrangi Bhaijaan for now...
