Will it really end by December?
Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case, which has been going since 2002 must end in December, said court. The prosecution in the case told sessions court on Monday that Salman’s lawyer was delaying the trial.
The prosecution’s allegation was in response to Salman‘s lawyer Shrikant Shivade pleading that the defence wasn’t provided with a list of witnesses despite the court’s order.
However, the judge responded by saying that there were no new witnesses and that their names were already mentioned in the charge sheet. He further added that during the trial the evidence should be recorded but it is digressing from the main issue. “It’s been almost 13 years since this case has been going on… it should end by December end,“ the judge said to a leading tabloid.
The case will now be heard on December 3 when a motor vehicle inspector and a chemical analysis expert are likely to depose.
