Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have moved in together in their Bandra flat, many have been wondering whether an engagement announcement is on the cards soon. Where we wished to see the two love birds getting hitched next year, we hear that the same is likely to happen only in 2016.Reports suggest that Ranbir has been given a deadline for marriage, not by Kat but his parents! The Bombay Velet actor’s parents have asked him to tie the knot by 2016. We hear that Ranbir was seen telling the same to a friend of amidst a shoot for TV show recently. RK was overheard by a source who revealed the details to a leading tabloid. The actor stated that marriage isn’t on his mind as of now or any time next year as well.
He however was heard stating that he would get hitched in 2016, as the same was an ultimatum given to him by his parents.
A source informed the tabloid saying,” Ranbir’s personal life has been under the scanner. It can be extremely taxing when you know that the media is watching you. From what he said and what I understand, the wedding isn’t happening next year. Yes, his priority is his work and his relationship — but marriage isn’t on the cards yet.”
Ah well that’s definitely a bummer. After Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan’s grand wedding, we certainly are expecting Ranbir-Kat’s to be next in line. The kalira was dropped on Kat’s head by Arpita , so maybe it’ll happen soon. Let’s see how it all pans out!
