Ahead of her father’s birthday, the doe eyed beauty took couple of days off from her hectic schedule to fly down to Chennai
Shruti Haasan is a busy bee these days. After delivering hits in Tollywood with Yevadu and Race Gurram, and after making a comeback into Tamil films with Vishal’s Poojai, Shruti is engrossed shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara.
The actress took a short break from the shoot of her Hindi film, as she flew down to Chennai to spend a few days with her dad, Padma Shri Kamal Haasan, ahead of his birthday. Shruti was in town to receive an award and she made it a point to surprise her father as she dropped by his office. ” She visited Kamal in his office at Alwarpet and the two had a good time catching up”, said a source from Kamal Haasan’s office.
The Poojai actress would not be around to celebrate birthday of her dad, which is on Novemeber 7. But she made it sure to enjoy her stay at home sweet home. Shruti Haasan tweeted,” Home sweet home after an awesome schedule for yaara :) #home #myownbed #pink #happyme”.
With Akshara Haasan all set to make her debut with R Balki’s Shamitabh, we are sure Kamal would be a proud father as both his daughters are creating a name for themselves in the film world.
