Well, locking lips in films is not something that is a big deal now days. In every other film, we have actors performing intimate love making scenes and even locking lips with each other. If the script demands it, these actors will do it! One such film where the audience will get a dose of intimacy on screen is Zid, which produced by Anubhav Sinha and Mushtaq Shiekh.
The movie has been in news ever since the first look of the film was released across all social media platforms. The steamy scenes of the film have been the talk of the town. We hear that the actors went through a lot of takes to get the kissing and the love making scenes right. We wonder if that should be attributed to Method acting or sheer inexperience. After all the film stars three rank new comers – Karanvir, Mannara and Shraddha Das.
Mannara, Priyanka Chopra’s cousin in an interview to us spoke about the film as well as the much-hyped intimate scenes. She said, “Well, I am glad with the way my first film has turned out. The response to the trailer and the songs has been phenomenal. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing ever since the first theatrical was released and there are praises pouring in from all quarters. What else can a new comer ask for? Yes, it is a bold film and I don’t think there is anything wrong in that. The intimate scenes have been shot aesthetically and I had a wonderful co-star in Karanvir so there was no awkwardness while shooting.”
We also asked Mannara if the rumours of the actors needing multiple takes for getting the intimate scenes were right. She was quick to revert, “Why talk about only the intimate scenes. Yes, a few of them did take a few more takes than normal but then there were other scenes also that took a few more takes than normal. No one is making stories about that! For us it’s all about acting. Whether it is kissing on screen or making love or crying or even fighting, it is all a part of the act. That’s what we do. We act.”
Now there’s a girl who is ready to walk the talk! We can’t wait to watch the young, spunky and feisty Mannara making her debut with Zid. The film releases on November 28.
