Sidharth Malhotra has been spotted donning a muscular physique of late. The actor was busy preparing for his role for his upcoming movie Brothers, and trained himself in mixed martial arts, which is a full-contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques.
The actor now wants to include the art form in his regular fitness regime as he likes the fast paced workouts and finds mixed martial arts different from the regular form.
In an interaction with a leading daily, Sidharth shared, “Mixed Martial Arts is an intense and fast paced regime which conditions your full body. I have learnt it for my film and want to continue practising it as my regular fitness regime.”
The Student of the Year star is on a protein rich diet for and has already put on 8 kilos of muscle weight for the film.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, Brothers also features Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff. It is the official remake of 2011 Hollywood flick Warrior.
