Though the Dhoom:3 baddie is said to have turned down Johar’s film, Aamir wouldn’t mind collaborating with the Dharma head honcho if he offers him the right script in the near future…
Of late, Aamir Khan has been in the news for a lot of reasons. Yes, his much-awaited film PK co-starring Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Sushant Singh Rajput is just around the corner. But apart from that, Mr Perfectionist grabbed headlines when he recently ditched Karan Johar’s film at the last moment. The Bombay Velvet baddie has been wanting to work with Kiran Rao’s hubby for the longest time. And KJo even approached the versatile actor for a film. In fact, the two even met few times and were apparently working together on its script. However, things didn’t work out and the PK hero eventually backed off leaving Karan in a sticky situation.
Well, neither Aamir nor the Koffee with Karan host has spoken about this episode. But at the PK game launch when Khan was asked about rumours doing the rounds about him rejecting KJo’s film, he played safe and just said, “I will be very happy if he wants to direct me. If Karan comes with some nice script, I will surely do it. I will be very happy to work with him.”
While Azad’s daddy dearest is open to working with Johar, we wonder if the latter will again offer a film to the former…ever again! Because not too long ago, Aamir Khan had even rejected Karan Johar’s Shhuddhi not once but twice, we hear.
