Anurag Kashyap and Huma Qureshi have worked together in the past in Gangs Of Wasseypur 1 and 2. The actress, however, became even more famous when she was accused of being the reason behind Anurag and wife Kalki Koechlins break up. However, the couple had denied the fact and asked media personnel to leave Huma alone. On their front as well, Anurag and Kalki stopped socialising with the Badlapur actress. But things are going to be different now.

Sudhir Mishra has roped in Anurag to play an important role in his upcoming political thriller. Anurag will play the father to Rahul Bhatt’s character, who will be having a love angle with Huma Qureshi. Now had it been a cameo appearance it would have been different, but sources confirm that Anurag will have a full fledged role in the film; which obviously means that the two will be seen spending more time together.
Presently Sudhir is busy shooting Aur Devdas featuring Richa Chadda and Aditi Rao Hydari. This modern day political take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel Devdas, is being shot mostly in Lucknow and Delhi. Post this , Sudhir will get on with this Rahul Bhatt, Anyrag Kashyap and Huma Qureshi starrer project. That would also mean that his ambitious project Mehrunnissa has been put on hold for quite some time now.
