Anushka Sharma has been at the top of her game these days. With some great movies like PK, NH 10, Bombay Velvet, Dil Dhadakne Do coming out in the next few months, Anushka will definitely be a reigning queen in 2015. Also she has been roped in for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil recently. However, the actress is up and about the fact that she has earned this status and not just got it by fluke. Anushka at a recent press interview informed, “After my first film, I didn’t become an overnight star like Ranbir (Kapoor), Ranveer (Singh) or Deepika (Padukone). No one put me on the covers of magazines and called me the next big thing. No one said that ‘she is the one to look out for’.” Now that fact may be true, but definitely Anushka has risen slowly and steadily and is sure to beat her contemporaries like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and others in 2015.
With stellar directors like Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and Navdeep Singh in her kitty, she sure is going to be the numero uno heroine in the coming days. What do you think ?
