Those who have recently watch Aamir Khan’s PK, must be bowled over by Sushant Singh Rajout’s performance in the same. The actor looks adorable in the role of a romantic hero. But he is coming to theatres now, as one of the most intriguing detectives of all time!
We are talking about Sushant’s next, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi which is helmed by the ace director Dibakar Banerjee. The film also stars Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee.
Dibakar along with his film’s leading man recently launched the first poster and motion poster of his film. He unveiled the poster in Kolkata at the Lalit Great Eastern Hotel which holds a historical value. Talking about the same Bannerjee says, “It’s right here that Byomkesh’s first adventure catapulted him from anonymity to dangerous fame. I can’t imagine a more fitting place to launch the first look of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! than this hotel – which right on this day in 1942, would be full of chaos and mayhem as bombs fell around it, right here – 70 years ago – with Byomkesh probably on the hunt for a murderer not far away!”
Dibakar has based his film on the popular eponymous fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandhopadhyay.
