Did you know Gurmeet Choudhary’s Khamoshiyan was originally going to be a sequel of Haunted?

The script of the upcoming thriller was written by Vikram Bhatt for Haunted 2

Starring Gurmeet Choudhary, Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi, Khamoshiyan has created a rage with its recently released trailer that became a roaring hit online and also the fastest non-star cast trailer to register a million views. What no one knows is that the script of the film was originally written by Vikram Bhatt for a sequel of the hit horror flick, Haunted.

Vikram, later passed it on to Karan Darra, the director of Khamoshiyan. Bhatt reveals, “Khamoshiyan was my Haunted 2. I wanted to make it as the sequel to Haunted.”

Appreciating Karan’s work, Vikram also added, “There was a discussion in the Vishesh Films office with Mahesh ji and Mukesh ji on making a supernatural film and I narrated my script to them and they loved it. The script was then named Khamoshiyan and Karan became the director of the film. I’m thrilled to see how my script has shaped up and the reaction to the trailer for a non star-cast film is just outstanding.”
