Fans speak: Deepika Padukone beats Katrina Kaif to become the most stylish actress of 2014!

We conducted a poll, asking you to vote for the most stylish actress in films this year. The results are here and Deepika takes the crown!

This year saw some of the most stylish B-town babes dazzling the silver screen and creating fashion trends. BollywoodLife conducted a poll recently, asking you peeps to vote for an actress who, you think, looked the most stylish in her film, this year. The options included Deepika Padukone in Happy New Year, Katrina Kaif in Bang Bang, Alia Bhatt in 2 States, Jacqueline Fernandez in Kick and Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat. And you have chosen Deepika as the most stylish actress this year, for her look in Happy New Year!

Dippy played the role of a dancer (Mohini) who evidently, is a die-hard Madhuri Dixit fan. The leggy lass sizzled in her introductory number Lovely, where she was seen wearing a shimmering crop top and lowers, followed by her anarkalis and churidar kurtas in the song Manwa Lage and funky printed casual tees, during the course of the film. For the same reason, the actress has made a sweeping victory with 39 per cent votes in her kitty.

Next comes Katrina Kaif for her style in the film Bang Bang. The actress’s chic thigh slit dresses and off shoulder top-shorts have earned her the 2nd position on the list with 37 per cent votes. That was a close one! Alia Bhatt bags the 3rd position with 11 per cent votes for her ethnic style statement in 2 States.

Surprisingly Jacqueline Fernandez received a mere 8 per cent votes which earns her the 4th position on the list. The actress was seen sporting the geek look for her film Kick, except for her glam avatar in the song Jumme Ki Raat where the Sri Lankan beauty sizzled in a red Dolce and Gabbana lace dress. Guess geek isn’t the new chic for you guys!

Ironically, fashionista Sonam Kapoor comes last on the list for her fusion of boho, preppy and ethnic in Khoobsurat. Given her outfits were vibrant and bold, we imagined they would be well received by the public. But the actress, has received a mere 5 per cent votes for her style in the film. Well, better luck next time Ms Kapoor!

Deepika now seats the throne after winning a mighty style war. We wonder what Kat has to say...
