Good Morning Pakistan is undoubtedly a must watch movie for Karachites. The story of the film is about a girl Rafina (Played by Amna Ilyas) chasing her dreams. The film has been beautifully shot and the highlight of the film of course is the mesmerizing performance of actress/model AMNA ILYAS. The film has been directed by Sabiha Sumar (Director of Film, Khamosh Pani).
The story of a girl, Rafina, who dreams of leaving the gallis of Faisal Colony for the glamour of Pakistan’s fashion and beauty industry, Good Morning Karachi moves between the different worlds that Karachi is home to; there’s the bubble that Rafina’s clients at a beauty salon inhabit, where women complain that you just can’t get a decent bagel in Karachi, the corporate world where ad executives look for models who encapsulate a notion of enlightened innocence and look as though they have seen a lot but are not corrupted by it, to sell their products.
Starcast of the film includes, Amna Ilyas as Rafina, Beo Rana Zafar as Rosie, Saba Hameed as Ammi, Atta Yaqub as Jamal, Aamina Sheikh as The cardgirl, Savera Nadeem as PJ, Yasir Aqueel as Arif, Khalid Malik as Murad, Shaheen Khan as Nawal, Farhan Ali Agha as Fahad. All in all, an interesting film to look forward to. We wish team Good Morning Karachi a best of luck for the film’s release.
