Hawaizaada’s Ayushmann Khurrana to apply for flying license

The trailer of the actor-singer’s next film will be out this afternoon…

Ayushmann Khurrana is all geared up for his upcoming release Hawaizaada, where he plays the role of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is credited to have constructed India’s first unmanned plane. Grapevine has it that the Bewakoofiyan actor wants to learn flying in real life and plans to apply for a flying license. His friends and members from the film unit have been bugged with questions relating to the fact as to how he can learn flying.

Our khabroos also informs that the Nautanki Saala actor has been speaking to various flight training institutes across Mumbai for the same. He plans to undergo the physical tests by the end of this week and start the procedure towards getting a pilot’s license. He is also ready for the rigorous training that he would have to do for the same. While speaking to a leading daily the Vicky Donor actor confirmed the news saying, “Flying has always intrigued me since childhood. I’m dying to fly a plane for real.” He will have to spend a lot of time alongside a professional pilot, as a co-pilot, and learn the nitty-gritties of flying. Once he is trained he will have to complete about 60 – 80 hours of flying a small plane. Only post that will he be able to get a formal license. Ayushmann seems all charged up to follow this passion and it seems that he will make his work schedule accommodate his hobby. He might have to wake up early every morning and attend the classes before going for shooting.

The only other actor we remember is Shahid Kapoor, who had flown an F-16 in Bangalore, during the promotional activities of Mausam. We hope Ayushmann’s hobby doesn’t take the back seat like Shahid’s did and we hope its not just for Hawaizaada‘s promotion.
