Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s much awaited blast, PK has finally exploded across the theatres. Speaking of which, this biggest opener is running as huge as your humongous response with full house screens. But apart from hearing positive critic reviews, box office records and fan wows, here’s something that we found really interesting.
In our attempt to find out what’s cooking behind the scenes of PK, we got this amusing little story of how a real life beggar got casted in PK and how that brief role has changed his life to no bounds. Yes! From what we hear, the scene where Aamir strolls by the bridge and plays around with a beggar’s money- that blind man is not a mere character artist dressed as a beggar. His name is Manoj Kumar who was spotted begging outside Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Now isn’t that something? That’s not all. With this little casting in PK, Manoj has now quit begging and has also returned back to his hometown Tezpur in Assam, to run his shop.
Though this story isn’t quoted or said through any official statement but as far as we believe, Aamir and Hirani do have a big heart, right peeps?
