Initially, Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar did string of films together and they even tasted success courtesy their onscreen chemistry. However, a lot was written about their off screen chemistry too and that hampered their working equation. For the longest time, these two stars haven’t shared screen space and it seems they never will. We say so because Akshay had recently said that he won’t mind teaming up with PeeCee for a film if the right script comes his way but when Ms Chopra was asked to comment on the same at a event which she graced not too long ago, her reply was, “Firstly, I don’t think he said that. Secondly, I pick up projects on the basis of good scripts and not actors.” Now that’s an interesting answer.
If you read between the lines then its pretty obvious that the Bajirao Mastani actress even today isn’t comfortable talking about Akshay so its highly unlikely that she would say yes to a film starring Akki in the lead, hai na ?
