Karan Johar has been socially active always. He has maintained a strong stance always against any ills happening in the society. Talking about the recent Uber taxi incident, where a girl has accused the taxi driver of raping her, KJo has taken to twitter to express his concern over such incidents.
Karan tweeted, “Appalled at the @Uber incident!! If they didn’t do an adequate background check of the driver they have no reason to operate anywhere!!!!” What he is putting forth is true. The cab company owners should do a through background check on the drivers before they anoint them for any transporter assignment.
Also, Karan re-tweeted a fans tweet which read, “Today it’s Uber, tomorrow it’ll be some other service or place. We plug gaps while rapists just move on to their next violation of trust”. This fact is also cent percent correct. If it can happen with one service provider it can definitely happen with the others.
