Rakhi Sawant is popularly known as the queen of controversies. The dancer turned actress is always in the spotlight following one incident or another, and this time it all has to do with a slap, a film, and the director of it!
It so happened that Rakhi Sawant and director Sachendra Sharma were seen at a promotional event of their upcoming movie Mumbai Can Dance Saala. All was hunky dory until a woman appeared on stage and slapped the living daylights out of director Sachendra Sharma! Reports suggest that the actress was Rakhi’s friend Manisha and she gave it off to the director for having cutting Rakhi’s song from the film. Not only this, the friend also accused the director of casting couch.Rakhi confirmed the news, and stated that the director was guilty of having asked for favours from her for her role in the film.
Rakhi and her friend reportedly went to Santacruz police station to file a case against the director for casting couch and molestation.
This isn’t the first time a slapping incident has come to light in the recent past. As we all know, the nation was left shell shocked following the reports of India’s Raw Star host Gauahar Khan being slapped on the finale, by a man named Akil Malik. Reports stated that the man had slapped the host,as she wore “revealing clothes” and disrespected the sentiments of Islam.
