Everyone is outraged at the recent slaughter of over 148 children in Pakistan
On Tuesday, the world was shell-shocked at the outrageous act of Taliban in Pakistan who opened fire in a military school filled with innocent children. BollywoodLife caught up with a few television stars who wished to share their sentiments on the ridiculous behaviour of a select few in the name of revenge and religion.
Saurabh Raaj Jain: It is heartless, inhuman and a ridiculous way to put forward their point which in itself is pointless. Gruesome killings again and again by these extremists has now reached its epitome, killing innocent children can never be justified.
Shivin Narang: I was shocked when I heard this news. I am angry and in pain; I am empathetic but all I can do is pray for them and their families. I wish this never happens to anyone ever. On the sets of Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera also we kept silence for two minutes in memory of all those who lost their lives. In my heart I can never forgive them because they don’t deserve it.
Rashami Desai: It was an atrocious act. Children who have not even lived are killed for nothing. It demands serious action. I felt very bad when I heard the news. I am not in India but the news reached me.
Adaa Khan: My heart goes out for the kids and their families… I am just speechless when something so inhuman and barbaric happens. These innocent kids went to school and never came back; may God give strength to their parents to overcome such a big loss. It was indeed the most cowardly act I’ve ever heard of. I just wish the world unites against these monsters and wipes out their existence from the face of this earth.
Sneha Wagh: I got goose bumps, when I read about it. It’s inhuman. No religion supports killing. And this is evil. Whatever has happened is questionable to the entire human race! Are we really supposed to kill our future? My heart aches even looking at the images of the bloodshed. What is the future of our world? Where are we going?
Vahbiz Dorabajee: It’s very disappointing to know such cruelty still happens. The kids who have not even lived saw death on the face. I am at a loss for words. Killing anyone is wrong and slaughtering innocent kids is the worst kind of crime.
Gunjan Utreja: Undoubtedly it was an act of cowardliness. And my heart goes out to all the parents who lost their kids. Our prayers are with them. But this attack proves that all terrorist activities have no meaning or reason. They are not doing it for any freedom movement or revolution. People are being converted into mindless creatures to just shoot. Otherwise how can you even think of shooting children?
Tina Dutta: I saw it on the news channel and was aghast. The people who planned and plotted the whole things should be hanged. How can innocent children be put to death in an instant.
