The Rajkumar Hirani directorial has till now made Rs 214 crore at the domestic ticket windows
Aamir Khan’s recently released film, PK has now entered the Rs 200 crore club after completing its nine successful days at the domestic box office. The film, which collected approximately Rs 17 crores on its second Saturday now stands with a total collection of Rs 214 crores at the Indian box office.
The Rajkumar Hirani directorial has been performing extremely well since its opening, all thanks to the Christmas vacations. After 3 Idiots and Dhoom:3, PK is Aamir’s third film to enter the Rs 200 crore club.
Let us also tell you that PK, which also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla has now outdone the lifetime collections of Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, 3 Idiots and Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year. And with this, PK has now become 7th highest grosser of all time.
Looking at the current pace, we won’t be surprised if PK beats Chennai Express and Kick‘s lifetime business as well, which is Rs 227.13 and Rs 231.85 crore respectively.
