Varun Dhawan has undergone a stuning transformation for his upcoming Sriram Raghvan directorial, Badlapur. The actor shed off his chocolate boy looks to don a bearded, rugged avatar. And inspiration for his character, Raghu, was none other than his favourite Salman Khan.
While speaking to a leading daily Varun informed, “Salman Khan’s character Radhe in Tere Naam was an inspiration (for Badlapur character). As far as my look in Badlapur is concerned, my elder brother Rohit was a reference point. I thought to myself that when I age, I may end up looking like him. So the bearded look actually came from Rohit.”
Varun and Salman’s bonding is not uncommon. Salman even did a cameo in Varun’s Main Tera Hero. We hope their bond stays strong!
