Two days ago, the nation woke up to another horrifying rape case news – a taxi driver in Delhi raped a 27-year-old woman. Shiv Kumar Yadav, who committed this heinous act, was later arrested from a village in Mathura. While the case is being thoroughly investigated, this incident has shocked many including Bollywood bigwigs like Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar. The Baby actor took to Twitter last night and voiced his opinion regarding the same. He tweeted, “You hire a cab thinking its safer and pay more but sadly even that isn’t an option anymore. Not sure how many more such incidents before we have stricter laws! #DelhiShamedAgain.”
The Dharma head honcho also vented out his anger on the popular social networking site Twitter. Karan Johar wrote, “Appalled at the @Uber incident!! If they didn’t do an adequate background check of the driver they have no reason to operate anywhere.”
Shiv Kumar Yadav was employed with the newly launched cab booking service of Uber.
