To play a role, one often becomes it. The same is the case with Varun Dhawan, who had to enter the same space in order to essay the role of a vengeful man named Raghu in Badlapur. At the trailer launch of the film, Varun was accompanied by his mother, who stated that she was scared by her own son and the way he was preparing for the role. “I was scared to see the change in Varun. He had completely transformed and I felt if he had a knife in his hand he will attack me. That’s how hard he has worked for the film. It is for the best of the film, she was seen saying.
It seems the actor is still very much in his element. He was recently seen at a promotional event for his film, in a casual tee and denims. Though the actor didn’t sport his scruffy and raw avatar of Raghu as seen in the teaser of the film, the actor acted like his character nonetheless! He was seen giving off some angry poses for the shutterbugs.
When I think of anger, the first name that comes to mind is that of the mighty Hulk. The green and wrathful avenger is my favourite one and while taking a look at Varun’s pics, I couldn’t help but be reminded of how much his poses resembled that of Hulk’s from the film The Avengers!
