Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film Fitoor will bring together a stellar cast of Rekha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif. Now we know that Adi will be romancing Kat, it was interesting to know as to who would the veteran beauty be romancing. Will it be some veteran Bollywood hero? Or will it be a newcomer?
To give rest to all your queries, our sources reveal that renowned Ghazal singer Talat Aziz will make his acting debut with this film and he will be the one who will be romancing the timeless beauty. And to further elaborate he won’t just have a small cameo in the film. He will have a full fledged romantic track with the glamour queen. While speaking to a leading tabloid, the source said, “Aziz has been signed on to play a high profile diplomat from Pakistan, a key character in the film. He will be seen wooing Rekha. He has been given an authentic and interesting look for the role. He has shot a few scenes with Rekha and their chemistry is quite good. As of now, we won’t be able to reveal whether his character is inspired by an actual person. But, it is definitely going to be appealing.”
Grapevine also suggests that the two have started shooting for their scenes in Kashmir together and the first look seems to have come out really well. The last time Talat and Rekha came together was when the ace singer was seen crooning to songs for Rekha’s iconic film Umrao Jaan.
