AB De Villiers Fastest Century (100 off 31 Balls) Full Highlights VS West Indies 18 January 2015



JOHANNESBURG: South Africa captain AB de Villiers made fastest 100 record on Sunday in second ODI against guests team West Indies as he made century in 31 balls.

Ab de Villiers has snatched record of fastest century from New Zealand batsman Koray Anderson who had made the record in 36 balls.

The South African skipper in today’s match also made fastest half century record in 16 balls. He broke earlier record of Sri Lankan former player Sanath Jayasuriya who had record scoring half century in 17 balls.



It is very much interesting to note that Koray Anderson had made record playing against West Indies and now Ab de Villiers also made record against the same team.

South African skipper made a record by hitting 8 boundaries and 11 sixes.

He was caught at 149 runs by playing 43 balls and Andre Russel took his wicket

In the first ODI, the hosts South Africa won by 61 runs according to the Duckworth/Lewis method when the tourists were bowled out for 164. South Africa made 279 for eight before their innings was cut short by rain after 48.2 over.
