Saba Qamar turns down Indo-pak production, leaving Ekta Kapoor fuming




One of Pakistan's production house along with Ekta Kapoor is collaborating for a drama, which will record in India-Pakistan. Apparently, buzz is that when approached for the drama, Saba Qamar turned down the offer. It is learnt that the development took place recently.

After successful soap serials in India Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu, Kahani ghar ghar ki and Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Zee Zindagai's success in Inia, Ekta is want to be made dramas for Pakistani audience too under her banner, Bala Ji productions.

Not surprisingly, the producer and the director were keen to rope in Saba Qamar who is finest actress of Pakitan and could transform herself into the character. However, it seems as if Ms fire wasn't too sure about it. The story goes that Saba's decision to not do the drama hasn't gone down too well with producer Ekta Kapoor.

The actor has been clear about her lack of interest in the world’s second largest film industry.

In a recent past the absolutely stunning Saba, Tonite With HSY, said that she would agree to work in India if she gets the same respect as given by the Pakistani fraternity and fans.

“I would work if the role is alongside A-class actors – the Khan party – not with B and C [class actors],” stated Saba.

Commenting on rejecting a film, Saba said she gets many offers: “I get a call every other day, but unlike other actors who flaunt, I keep it to myself.”

Previously, Qamar was reportedly offered a role opposite Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, a supporting cast member in films such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Heroine, which she declined.
