Footage has emerged of a female lion tamer being attacked by one of her lions while performing in the city of Tanta, Egypt.
Support staff rallied to her aid after the attack by the lion, known as Mandy.
The circus performer was released from hospital hours later with minor injuries, saying she is looking forward to getting back in the cage.
