The Pakistani sweethearts created a stir with their telly drama not just across the border but in India as well.I am an absolute fan of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s Humsafar. Really! From the plot, to the performances to the treatment, there wasn’t a thing I didn’t love about the show. The Pakistani show aired in India on Zindagi channel a few months back and almost everybody fell head over heels for its lead couple, Khirad and Ashar, almost instantly. It even landed Mahira Khan her big Bollywood debut opposite the one and only Shah Rukh Khan. But all said and done, I know that not everybody is as crazy about Fawad and Mahira’s telly drama as I am.
This video of a hilarious spoof on Humsafar by a group called The YouTube Crazy from the Living Picture. Though I love Humsafar, I thoroughly enjoyed these people’s take on the show as well! They don’t think of Humsafar too highly and they find the funniest way to make their displeasure with the drama serial known to the world!

Osman Khalid Butt who played the much-loved character Aunn is very popular in India. A big fan of Bollywood classics, his favourite film is Mughal-E-Azam, which he believes is a masterpiece where everything from the dialogues to the music was like poetry captured on celluloid. Among his other favourites are Amitabh Bachchan’s Main Azad Hoon, Sadma, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and the Salman Khan-Aamir Khan starrer Andaaz Apna Apna.
On being asked, whether given an opportunity he’d like to work in a Bollywood film, he said, “Which actor hasn’t dreamt of being a part of Bollywood and Hollywood? I’d love to work in a Bollywood film — with the right script of course.” His dream is to direct a Pakistani film and bring it to India.
