Highly acclaimed Pakistani film Dukhtar ready for UK release.
"Afia Nathaniel's" highly acclaimed road trip thriller "Dukhtar" an exhilarating story of a mother and her 10-year-old daughter on the run to disrupt plans of the child's proposed marriage to a powerful tribal elder, is releasing across the UK from this month. The film released in Pakistan last year and has continued to successfully screen at film festivals around the world where it has bagged a handful of accolades."Dukhtar" was also nominated for an Oscar consideration in the category of 'Foreign Language Film 'at the 87th Academy Awards. Inspired by a true story and offering stunning visuals not to be missed, "Dukhtar" will be screened in the UK from this week.
Dukhtar stars Samiya Mumtaz, Mohib Mirza, Saleha Aref, Asif Khan, Ajab Gul, Adnan Shah Tipu, Abdullah Jan, Samina Ahmad, Omair Rana, Zeeshan Shafaff.
