Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi criticized model Ayyan Ali and Waqar Zaka’s first ever selfie, following the former’s release from jail.
Pakistani supermodel Ayyan Ali made headlines when she languished in Adiala Jail as an accused in a money laundering case. Ayyan, caught with a bagful of $500,000 at Benazir International Airport. The model was accused of smuggling the hefty sum out of the country on a Dubai-bound flight. After spending 4 months in jail, Ayyan was released just before Eid on bail.
Soon after the supermodel returned home, she uploaded a selfie of herself with Living On The Edge host Waqar Zaka (who had visited the model for dinner). Here’s the post that Ayyan Ali shared:-
However, the ‘selfie’ did not sit well with controversial Pakistani actor and model Hamza Ali Abbasi, who took to his Facebook account (like numerous times before) and blasted the model. Criticizing Pakistan’s judicial system and chiding Ayyan for ‘boasting’ her picture on Facebook, Hamza expressed sorrow over the death of Ayyan’s investigating officer Chaudhry Ejaz. Hamza Ali Abbasi has always resorted to commenting on sensitive and trending issues in Pakistan. The actor, who has demonstrated support publicly for PTI chairman Imran Khan and his political party Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf on several occasions, has come under fire on several occasions for voicing his opinions on particular subject matters.
