Much Awaited Theatrical Trailer of ‘Manto’ Released!

Manto is a biopic of legendary writer and poet Sadaat Hassan Manto and highlights the story about him carving out his way in the showbiz industry of Mumbai and Lahore, as well as his life after the partition of 1947. A bevy of plays have been written and performed on the life of this iconic writer and poet, but this is the first time when a movie has been made.
Written by Shahid Mahmood Nadeem of the Ajoka theatre, this biopic has veteran actors in its cast including Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar, Faisal Qureshi, Sania Saeed, Hina Bayat, Afraz Rasool, Humayon Saeed, Nimra Bucha, and many more stars of the industry in cameos. The director, Sarmad Khoosat is essaying the role of Manto.
In addition to the incredible cast, some of the finest musicians of the country have lent their voices and compositions.
The film hits theaters on September 11, 2015.
