Nadeem Beyg, who directed the movie Jawani Phir Nahi Aani is very happy over the success of his movie.
The movie was a comedy that provided non-stop entertainment for the people who went to watch the movie. Beyg is now moving to his next project.
In his pursue of being among the diverse directors, Beyg is shifting his focus from comedy to a more romantic genre.
“Since my first film was about comedy, people are expecting to see comedy in this one too. But this will not be the case,” he said.
Beyg is constantly working in collaboration with Humayun Saeed and part of the project Dillagi which marks the comeback of Humayun Saeed to the drama screen after a long absence. Working on the romantic movie he plans to release, Beyg says the script is still in the making and it’s too early to say whether Humayun Saeed will be acting in it or not.
Although he is shifting to romantic drama for the time being but Beyg expects to jump back to the comedy genre once he is done with this.
“There are two more films in the pipeline. Both are being written by Vasay Chaudhry and they will be comedy films,” Beyg added.
Beyg’s Jawani Phir Nai Aani was surely among the best as it beat box office records of the likes of Waar and would you believe it?
The movie’s grossing was more than ‘Fast and Furious 7’!!!
