Biography: Shahrukh Khan often credited as Shah Rukh Khan and informally referred to as SRK is a famous Indian actor. Called the "Badshah of Bollywood", "King Khan" or "King of Romance", Shahrukh has acted in 75 Hindi films in genres ranging from romantic dramas to action thrillers. He has garnered him numerous achievements including fourteen Filmfare awards. He has also received the Padma Shri Award and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Légion d'honneur conferred by the French government. He started off with television and acted in serials like Fauji and Circus. He made his Bollywood debut in Deewana starring Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti. He then delivered hits such as Baazigar and Darr in which he played negative roles. He dominated the romance genre with films like Kuch kuch hota hai, Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge, Dil toh pagal hai, Kabhi khushi kabhi ghum, etc. His other noteworthy movies include Devdas, Chak de! India, Swades, My name is Khan, Veer Zaara, Mohabattein, et al. He is known to be the second richest actor in India. He is married to Gauri Khan and has three children – Aryan, Suhana and Abram. He owns the production house Red Chillies Entertainment and also the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. He is the face of many brands. He also hosted the famous reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati once.
