Shaista Lodhi is one of the renowned television show host who has won the hearts of many. Shaista on the occasion of her birthday visited thalassemia patients in Karachi along with her birthday on the Make a Wish Foundation.
Both mother and daughter had quite a lot of talking to do with the kids and Shaista was witnessed asking children about their birthdays and what they had in mind that they wanted to do.
“We often throw glamorous birthday parties for our friends and family members, but we never care about the people who can’t enjoy such luxurious. To make my birthday special I planned to step out of my home and spend a day with kids who don’t get these privilege within their family because of their medical condition,” she said.
Sharing the cake with the kids, Shaista distributed gifts among the kids. Things included the likes of doll houses, remote cars and also took photographs with the kids.
Shaista’s profession also attracts her towards underprivileged kids and this is this reason that she went out to celebrate her birthday in a place like this.
Shaista was once the queen of morning shows with her record breaking morning show. However, she went off screen and now that she is back she is currently working with Hum TV and hopes to reach the same heights again.
