Pakistani Media has crossed all the limits when it comes to preserving the cultural and traditional way of entertaining its audience. The rape scene of drama serial Sanghat was the ice breaker of vulgarity this year and here comes the cherry on the top. The dramas we intend to see as a family show are no more a family content. The clip seen above has been taken from a prominent drama on HUM SITARAY. Check this video out and share your views about airing vulgarity to this limit!
We can't watch this kind of Dramas with family

So let me get this straight, you don't like dramas showing the dark but very real sides of life because its vulgar according to you? How would you like to show rape? With roses, romantic music and people smiling? News flash: look up the word rape and understand its meaning. The vulgarity is not in showing the social issues, but to hide them under the guise of conservatism and Family values. However, I do think Pakistani drama makes fail at doing justice to such topics. Step out of your utopic pink bubble. Pakistani dramas have a longstanding and critically acclaimed tradition of highlighting social issues through dramas. Be that joint Family, dowery or other. Maybe next time you can turn to Disney channel during Family viewing. Clearly real life issues are not your cup of tea. We can not hide the truth just because its ugly and uncomfortable. When you depict rape you must do so fairly. Rape does not end with the man entering the room of the female and then the scene fades to black. Wake up. It involves him brutually invading her body, ripping off her clothes, threatening her into silence and obedience, sometimes words are enough, other times weapons like knives are used. He does not woo her with bollywood songs and rose petals. Rape is not sex. Its violence. He forces his own genitals inside her genitals against her will. Her body will usually carry signs of rape depending on how violent he was. Did you know our bodies shut down during rape which is why girls have clear traume around and inside their genitals? Bruising, vaginal bleeding etc. The body is defending itself. I really dont mean to offend you. This is just reality. It happens to a lot of pakistani sisters. Its more common than you think. But there is way to portray it doing it justice and yet not hiding it. My issue is more with outlandish riduclous scripts which paint the rapists as romantics or excuse his crime as a mere mistake. You issue is with the scenes which you think is vulgar. NO RAPE IS VULGAR. PORTRAYING IS NOT VULGAR. Learn the difference. Next time choose Disney or Nickelodean or something which is all happy and covered up.
