KARACHI: Doctors on Friday have asked former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf to not walk due to the pain in his backbone.
According to media reports, yesterday Musharraf went for a thorough check-up in PNS hospital.
After reviewing his medical reports, medical board told that Musharraf has airline fracture in his spine and that’s why he should not walk.
Doctors said that he needs a surgery which can’t be conducted in Pakistan and also recommended physiotherapy sessions every day.
On the other hand, Musharraf’s personal doctors have sent the reports to special spinal surgeons for their expert opinion.
It is interesting to note here that Musharraf can’t travel abroad as his name is included in Exit Control List (ECL) and PNS doctors have suggested him a surgery that can only be done in a foreign country.
