LAHORE: Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman and host of political show ‘Aapas Ki Baat’ Najam Sethi has threatened to lodge FIR against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan here on Tuesday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
He accused that Imran Khan and his supporters are planning “smear campaign to incite hate violence” against him and his family in a message on Twitter.
Sethi also vowed to file an FIR against PTI member Arif Alvi and his son Awab Alvi.
Sethi tweeted, “On the Record: @DrAwab Alvi is planning smear campaign to incite hate violence against me & family. I will lodge FIR against Arif, Awab, IK.”
Imran Khan has recently boycotted Geo and Jang group as he believed the media group was involved in manipulating results of last elections in Pakistan.
Khan even accused Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government for giving special favours to Geo and Jang network like making Geo TV host Najam Sethi acting Chief Minister of Punjab and also giving him the post of PCB chairman.
