Rumours suggest that the Kai Po Che! actor is likely to be seen in the Oscar winning Iranian filmmaker’s next
Majid Majidi’s Children of Heaven is considered as an all time classic which was the first film from Iran to receive an Oscar nomination.
The legendary director reportedly was in India last October to finalize the details of his upcoming project Floating Gardens. Sources suggest that Majidi met up with Shuddh Desi Romance fame Sushant Singh Rajput during his last visit and is likely to cast him in his upcoming venture.
A source while talking to a popular daily revealed, “ Leading technicians and Bollywood stars including Sushant met up with Majidi when he visited India last year. He has been in touch with the filmmaker since then. It seems that Majidi is keen on casting him in the film.”
Mr Singh remained unavailable for a comment when contacted by the daily. However, a source close to the actor said, “Yes Sushant and Majidi met last October but nothing has been finalized yet.”
Well we assume there’ll be some solid news soon. After all it would be intriguing to see the hunk in an Iranian film, what say peeps?
